We arrived this afternoon during the Vikings game. It's nice to see my dad in good spirits watching the Vikes take it too Seattle. He seems to be a little distracted though, which isn't suprising knowing tomorrow is the big day. I think we all will feel better once we get past the surgery and know a little bit more. The tention of not knowing and waiting is sure slow and arguious.

Hi John, This is really difficult for me to say, but I'm glad you were able to watch the Vikings win today. I also enjoyed watching the Packers win. I know that you will have a large group visit you and I hope that you will get some good rest tonight; so, I'll be praying for you from home. I'm continuing to pray that God will be gracious to his faithful and obedient servant.
ReplyDeleteJohn-
ReplyDeleteI hope that you know how many of us wanted to come pray with you today and have to be there in spirit only. Your family and doctors are also on my mind and in my prayers. The kidz upstairs had a wonderful time making you cards and I hope you find the simple things said by them comforting and it brings a smile to you all. I hope you will get some rest and feel loved and at peace tonight. Thanks for making this blog available to so many! Darcy Mears
Dear John,
ReplyDeleteI am praying for you, John. May God give you peace and strength; and to your surgeon enduring skill and wisdom.
God is great and he loves you!
